Human Resources Records and Information Systems

Information Systems (Shared Service)

Information Systems provides analysis and reporting of Human Resources information. We collect, validate for accuracy, and make available quality Human Resource data through the automation of processes into several electronic HR systems for the University, Medical Center and Medical Associates.  We provide data and handle the administration of the following systems: PeopleSoft (University), Icon Tools (Medical Center), Ceridian (Medical Associates), Application Extender (University), Cerner Provision (Medical Center), People Fluent (applicant tracking), Attendance Tracking system (Medical Center), and the automated EIF system (Medical Center).  We handle the website development for all of Human Resources.

Records (University)

Records maintains and controls access to Augusta University employees' personnel files. The goal of the section is to keep accurate hard copy and electronic personnel records. Supervisors may review the personnel file of those employees in their areas of responsibility in the presence of a HR Records staff member. In addition, a current employee may review his/her own personnel file in the presence of a HR Records staff member.
