Collection Guidelines

Patient should not eat seafood nor have had gadolinium or iodide containing contrast media administered for a 48 hour period prior to start of collection

Limitations and Contraindications

High concentrations of gadolinium and iodine are known to interfere with most metals tests. If either media has been administered, do not collect specimen for 96 hours
