Limitations and Contraindications

This test should not be used for monitoring patients receiving PEG-ADA therapy

Interpretation

Concentration is 48-100 U/g hemoglobin in hemolytic anemia due to ADA excess.  Concentration <0.3 U/g hemoglobin in severe combined immunodeficiency syndrome
